Killington Caraven
This is located close to Killington Lake on a working farm which is fairly rural and we are the only people to use this facility. Young people should they wish, are allowed with the supervision of staff to help on the farm with the farmer. This can be especially fun during lambing season and when the calves are being born.
This is also a fantastic base from where we are able to access Grizedale forest for Mountain biking, fell walking, climbing and canoeing.
Grange Cottage
Grange Cottage is also located on a working farm just outside Carlisle on the Solway Firth where young people have the opportunity to assist with the daily chores on the farm.
This is a great accommodation for young people who are engaging in work experience or an external education package, as Carlisle offers a lot of contacts that we have built up, to support the older age range of young people we have accessing our service. As well as E2E we have a good relationship with Carlisle College which offers a wide range of Vocational courses.
