An ‘Initial’ report is produced after 4 weeks, followed by an ‘interim’ report at 12 weeks, followed by a ‘Final’ report at 17 weeks for young people taking part in our programme.
At Wilderness Experiences as well as being registered with ofsted we hold an A.A.L.A License to carry out adventurous activities and provide Outdoor Education.
We have fully trained staff with the relevant NGB qualifications to deliver a whole range of outdoor education. these can include activities such as: Mountain Biking, Mountaineering, Climbing, Canoeing, Kayaking, Climbing, Wild Camping, Bush Craft Skills and Gorge Scrambling.
All the above activities will be available to young people subject to consent from the placing authority and parents where possible.
We find that through using the outdoors as a medium to engage young people it is highly beneficial in many ways. the activities we offer and the natural environment of the outdoors allows young people the space and distance from past experiences to be able to express themselves and feel relaxed in order to engage without any pressure from peers.
